Welcome back, learn what’s been happening in the state over the summer, networking, etc. For those who would like to, let’s have lunch together at the Olive Garden following the meeting – just for fun and sharing summer adventures!

September 24 and 25, 2010 (Friday, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.) Twice Exceptional Student Training, Level I, Pikes Peak BOCES, 4825 Lorna Place, CO Springs 80915. Districts are encouraged to send district level teams to learn about working with students who are twice exceptional. Registration is done online at the CDE Gifted Ed website.

September 28, 2010 (Tuesday) Torrance Creativity Test Training Workshop, Pikes Peak BOCES, 4825 Lorna Place, CO Springs, 80915, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Trainer: John Kauffman, PhD, Scholastic Testing Service. Each AU/district is invited to send a team to be trained. This training is for those who will be qualified by the district to administer the Torrance Test of Creativity to help in the identification of students gifted in the area of creativity
