New Directions
The New Directions Education Programs offers programs for at-risk and/or students needing alternative forms of education. Currently we offer an Expelled Student Program for both high school and middle school students, a GED Preparation Program for students of GED testing age, and a Credit Recovery/Dropout Retrieval Program for high school students needing to catch up on credits for graduation.
Students attend five hours per day five days a week. Working on our computer program enables students to work independently and at their own pace. In addition to the computer-based program, students participate in a weekly “Life Skills” course, as well as both individual and group counseling.sessions.
