Who Are We?
Pikes Peak BOCES II SWAP began in the fall of 2007 to assist those young adults who were preparing to exit the school system or had already exited the school system with finding, maintaining and succeeding at employment.

Who is Eligible For SWAP
Young adults ages 16-25 who are preparing to exit or already have exited the school systems AND
Have a mild to moderate employment barrier AND
Are ready to pursue full time employment
How Much Will It Cost?
There is no cost to the student/client. SWAP works with the local school districts, Pikes Peak BOCES, and is a bridge between them and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Our Mission:
To help young adults find employment that interests them, they are capable of doing, and to prepare them for successful employment.
Those using SWAP must be ready, willing and able to actively participate in the job search and job retention process.

How Do I Know If I'm Ready For SWAP
Contact your Special Education or Transitions Counselor if you are still in school and talk with them concerning your readiness and eligibility.
If you are already out of the school system but under the age of 25, feel free to call Lori Mitchell.
