WorkKeys Testing for Paraprofessionals

Pikes Peak BOCES offers testing for paraprofessionals through the ACT Workkeys. The tests are given to individuals at the BOCES office. There are three tests you will need to take: Basic Mathematics, Reading for Comprehension, and Business Writing. You will take the tests on a computer and receive the results after all three tests have been completed.

Passing levels for the tests are as follows: 

Basic Mathematics Level 4 

Reading for Comprehension Level 4 

Business Writing Level 3

Costs:

If you live or work in a member or associate school district (Big Sandy, Calhan, Edison, Elbert, Ellicott, Hanover, Miami-Yoder, Peyton, Academy #20, Colorado School District 11, Fountain #8, Falcon #49, Harrison #2, Lewis Palmer #38, Ute Pass BOCES, and Widefield #3, Fremont RE - 2 and Pueblo City Schools.

$60 (payable by cash or money order)

If you live or work in a nonmember school district:

$75 (payable by cash or money order)

Take the Test:

Tests are given at 8:30 a.m. or at 1:00 p.m. The tests are normally given twice per month, Tuesdays or Wednesdays, but you need to call for an appointment.
